Pets Best has (so far, one claim pending) reimbursed $6,916.30, and I expect about $1050 back on the remaining claim for a total of $7,964.20. Yeah, I'm still paying a lit myself, but I could not have swung the entire amount. And CareCredit gives me leeway to pay off in 6 months w/o interest

Jenga has cost me $13,131.32 in vet bills since 6/6/25. I have 70% reimbursement and a $1000 deductible, and some things weren't covered like prescription food we got directly from the vet and things like vaccinations.

There are a lot of pet insurance companies out there, so do you research and get quotes! I have had a good experience with Pets Best but others might be better for you. And none of them cover pre-existing conditions, unfortunately, so the earlier you get insurance the better

A reminder to please please please get pet insurance for your pets. I use Pets Best. They work with CareCredit and you get 5% off if you go through them. 5% off for multipet. And a discount for paying annually. I thought it was a bit expensive but got it anyway ($900 to insure all 3 for the year)
