The son of the big boss just looked at me with his mouth open. I smiled and sipped my coffee as I walked away.
The woman was my boss after I gave my notice.
She hated me so much. Eh. It wasn't about ego. I was taught to know my worth and to shut down anything trying to diminish me.

Has this been confirmed? Not that I'm a fan, but that seems wildly out of Ivanka's lexicon. She has a studied, stilted approach to language. (I mean, I'm not mad if it's true, just seems off)

South Carolina just quarantined 153 unvaccinated kids for 21 days after a measles outbreak. Minnesota has 118 under quarantine too. Measles was practically gone until RFK and Trump came along. But hey, MAHA/MAGA, right?

Attacks on the federal workforce are also attacks on Black workers, who are overrepresented in the public sector.

Black unemployment is 7.5%. I'm reminded of Coates' observation that Black Americans regularly experience conditions that would be considered a crisis if whites faced them.
