Any mix that starts off with a dialog sample from Alien is an insta-download.
Side note: Paul intoduces me to new (and forgotten/lost) artists and tracks with every mix.

(d)/glitched makes non-linear electronic music. Every album is a new galaxy; every track, a new world to explore. It's anti-Spotify music; long-form and immersive. More: http://soundcloud.com/d01 htt...

Much respect to those who have purchased my music this bandcamp Friday!

I think it's great that people still download MACHINE2MACHINE+ (2017), the Elektron Analog Four mini-soundpack, which includes all sounds/kits/patts to the album of the same name glitched.bandcamp.com/album/machin...

Have you eve heard of this group, EOG? Really cool, Gescom-esque stuff from the turn of the century.

Ok, feeling better about this next selection of tracks. I think 14 is too many, but...
Anyway, getting closer to a release 👍

The Black Dog's "Loud Ambient" is next on the bandcamp wishlist. Sounding really good! Here's "I Will Cleanse You" theblackdog.bandcamp.com/track/i-will...

I had a Access Virus TI Snow around 2012. Going back to the archives, I played the heck outta that thing. It was an ambient "beast," if there is such a thing.

There are too many good sonic tools out there right now. I'm getting highly distracted.
Heck, I'm getting distracted by the boxes I'm staring at right now!
It's time for a sell-off.

Gonna try out Datamind Audio's new "Refractalizer" granular thing now. Certainly sounds crazy! datamindaudio.ai/refractalizer/

Maybe it sounds pretentious, but I like to make all my sounds from scratch. That said, I must admit that the Elektron Tonverk has made me search out sample material more than ever before.
I'm able to twist samples in unexpected ways with this sampler.

For whom is "stem separation" for? Is it meant for DJs who want to remix an existing track or something?
I've played with it and it's kinda fun to grab an acapaella or instrumental, but what is its use for producers?

I've never taken up arms in the battle between hardware and software, but I often point to softsynths like SurgeXT, Korg opsix Native, and Noise Engineering's Loquelic Vereor as good reasons to go inside the box

A reminder that this strange, fun album birthed a remix album called "So Soon," which included two, iconic Boards of Canada remixes.

Sure, the streaming companies have their loudness guidelines, but if you're putting your music on bandcamp or some direct-download thing, you can make it as loud as you want. Here's Autechre's Exai. LUFS range from -9 to -14.4, but most tracks are around -11.

When correcting my Byerdynamic DT-990 headphones, I often choose the Sennheiser HD660s. Maybe I should just get those then eh
November 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM
I have a grip of nonsensical, glitchy tracks that are more like soundscapes than tracks, all Tonverk stuff. Definitely sound cool. Damn, I just have to put *something* out.
