Reaching this age has also reinforced my belief about "boomerism" being a mindset, not an age.

I turn 40 in a month. It's an age that I truly never thought I'd survive to, especially with the close calls I've had.

I really wouldn't be here without the found family I've intentionally fostered over the years. I love my friends beyond words and I hope I know them for the next 40+ years 💛
