California just teamed up with Nigeria on a new climate partnership at #COP30 — focused on cleaner transportation, climate adaptation, and cutting pollution.

Real action, global collaboration!

Daily Koss

Even if Dems got the ACA subsidies from the Senate, the House GOP would have voted them down. We could not allow people to starve in the meantime. Trump and Republicans will take the heat for this. So we shouldn’t help them by bashing our side and suppressing turnout in the future.

Michael Schwerner is remembered for his dedication to racial justice and his ultimate sacrifice in the fight for civil rights. In 2014, President Obama posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Schwerner, Chaney and Goodman. /end

Y’all remember what didn’t happen when Biden was president? *Any* of this shit. Tariffs, war with Venezuela, masked secret police grabbing people off the streets, people about to lose food aid, health care premiums skyrocketing, none of this.

This decision reaffirms that our access to safe and essential medicines should be dictated by science, not politics.

Nice to hear a heartwarming story
God bless the reporters at the Post, still finding and reporting stories like this.
Denise Mortimer, a former USAID employee, found comfort in drawing sketches of her dog as the agency was dismantled.

Then she kept going, drawing more animals and launching an account describing the work once done by their owners.

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
