Erik didn't notice this conversation between his classmates while I was there, but I worry he'll come home asking for an immediate hairstyle change. Any parenting tips to support your child when other kids make false statements about them? (2/2)
So, it begins: I overheard a classmate in my son's class at drop-off saying that he's a girl. Another classmate sitting across from her said, no, Erik's a boy, but the other kid kept insisting he's a girl because of his long hair. (1/2)

Some of the scenarios sadly seemed more likely of something happening in the states than, let's say, Europe. The runaway car training seemed dangerous to me.....could possibly give someone the impression that they too could do the same but just watching a video one time.
Well, it now makes it an easy decision which Disney park to visit in the US.

The Smithsonian and the National Gallery of Art both receive federal funding, but both institutions have announced they are using their reserves to stay open, at least for a little while. Other museums are offering discounts to federal employees.
The Smithsonian says it will now stay open through Oct. 11, despite the shutdown

NASA has announced its newest astronaut class, and it includes Lauren Edgar—a bona fide geologist!

She joins Jessica Watkins as the second (to my knowledge) geology-trained scientist currently in NASA's astronaut corps.

This bodes super well for going back to the Moon and on to Mars!
