Obesity's now on the list of considerations, as well as cancer, & mental health, that may result in denial of an immigrant visa.

The UCP’s excuses for using the notwithstanding clause — “because we can,” “because we have to,” and “because we say so” — do not meet Lougheed's standards.

Defying the Lougheed Doctrine
The UCP's repeated use of the notwithstanding is fundamentally unconservative (and un-Albertan).

great news! I talked to the guy Thursday about his campaign’s success at bringing community together beyond this election, and contextualized how it’s potentially shifted youth engagement with politics by simply listening @teenvogue.com

- Et donc il y a « eux », les « animaux », qui peuvent y aller.

Ce n'est pas anecdotique : C'est la clef des politiques pénales de ces dernières décennies.

- Tardé à tenir des audiences;
- Minimisé les risques de violence;
- Déconsidéré la parole de la victime;
- Ignoré les spécificités des violences domestiques.
