This is a state supreme court ruling in 2024: frozen blastocysts that thaw accidentally are victims of wrongful death, based on an originalist reading of [checks notes] Jeremiah 1:5.

Over half way through the month now and I still need 68 more sign-ups if I'm going to cover rent+bills.

I've literally lost more patrons than gained in the last week and I'm just running out of time.

If it interests you at all, please give it a try. That £5 makes a massive difference to me.
I'm a black trans woman fighting poverty and homelessness.

To support myself, I set up a patreon where you can get access to all my recipes, poetry, artwork and photography for just £5.

Something new EVERY SINGLE DAY. You won't regret it.

I just encountered the term "data fetishism" and, tho it seems to be used by most as loosely as commodity fetishism, the analogy seems spot on: preconscious instilled perception of big data's aura of inherent power instead of looking at the social relations that produce and ground it.

It's curious how little attention the radical left affords the trans struggle in comparison with the great effort expended by the right to end it. Some explain this by claiming it is a wedge issue used by the right to split the left, but this is wrong. The right hates trans people on our own merits.

There's been a surprising amount of lowbrow socialist commentary on how the communistic nature of videogame speedrunning subcultures combines a fundamentally competitive activity with a sense of communally "cracking" a game.

So many posts for and against various sub-categories within transness, I find myself falling into a kind of gender quietism. Can't really understand why you would spend so much time trying to systematize under conditions of scarcity. Better to fuck or not and be done.

I'm not sure I'd want my quiche crust to be made out of cheezits. Or like, I'd want to try it, but I think I enjoy the standard buttery crust, I think that's a big part of the appeal for me

So WV has introduced a bill that would, de facto, make being transgender in the state of West Virginia a felony.

Say hello to Senate Bill 197.

This is... horrifying. I might have to evacuate this state if this gets anywhere close to passing.
