I didn’t know that this happened until I started seeing hits from Turkey on my podcast and this is so so strange to me. For an autocrat to just decree by fiat that this is how everyone else’s languages are going to work from now on and the UN just folds

I want to develop a highly-specific case of schizophrenia where a hyper-ideal version of me that is everything I want to be just takes over and makes all the decisions it knows I need to make to be happy.

I had a cast iron skillet that I wanted to re-season, and I read up that to do so you cover it in lye and leave it outside to hotbox in a garbage bag for a couple days. I did this outside my building and after being safe the whole weekend the guy who takes care of trash threw it out

I don’t get what the reporting on “powerful passports” is supposed to achieve, other than dick measuring if you already got one.
“You can get into 191 countries with a Danish passport!” I was born in central New York, my ass is never getting one of those, but uh thanks for letting me know I guess.
