Next week will be the last #GardensHour of the year. Let’s get a little festive if you wish. Show off your displays, decorations, festive and wintery colours in your garden and houseplants.

We also usually ‘share’ a favourite drink and nibble as we enjoy a virtual party

I love Salvia’s, one of my favourites is Animo, but it can struggle to get through the winter in some parts. I took some cuttings and they are coming on well! #GardensHour

Evening all, My favourite garden things this year has probably been all the colours of astrantia, everything else seemed to fizzle out early but astrantia went the distance 🌱

2025 was a challenging year as not only did the #BlueSkies keep coming, I also broke my elbow at the start of June. I found dead heading roses to be good physio and DA Claire Autin was definitely floriferous. Now the veggies are still giving and it all feels so worth while #GardensHour

A tale of two lilies! I was very lucky to find Black Ship (first picture) bulbs at Gardeners World Live this year so I was able to compare them with my existing Knight Rider flowers (second picture). The sort of gardening experiment I enjoy 😂🥰 #GardensHour 🌱

With the current downpours it’s easy to forget that it was such a dry year, so my favourite thing is that the garden managed to produce some decent crops #GardensHour

Very hard to pick between these two! Hadn’t grown either of them before and I was very impressed with their darkness (and the million bells are still going because it’s so mild) 😍👍🖤

My absolute favorite thing is a more permanent screenhouse in the gardens. #GardensHour

I tried to sit there today but needed a couple more layers. It's about 10° F right now.

Look how low the sun is (at 2 pm!)

2025 brought the transformation of a wonky, flooding 'patio' into a fabulous "Terrace". Amazing how quickly green returns. #Gardenshour #Gardening
