Gronewold said Guard soldiers serve two purposes: “One, to defend America, and two, to protect Oregonians. And so by serving in this mission, they will be protecting any protesters at the ICE facility.”
If there was such a thing, I'm sure he got the same icy reception he got for the public part. In fact, he probably backed out of any private part he had planned, based on the total lead balloon of the public part.
All too often I've watched a speech or an event and then there's a panel of "experts" who purport to explain it to me. I don't need them to explain it to me, I just saw it. Most of the time their "explanations" are tendentious or tautological.
Pool reporters are worthless. They suck up to the administration for fear of getting kicked out of the pool and/or not getting to ride on AF 1. Real journalists don't need to attend these events, because that's not where the real news is happening.
A grad student ... in Computer Science ... enrolled in an undergraduate seminar ... in the American Indian and Indigenous Studies program ... where he ignored the readings and hijacked discussions to talk about Israel and defend its actions in Gaza?
Cornell is cancelling a distinguished professor's classes on Gaza and suspending him because of the complaints of a student who previously served in Israel's military surveillance agency and was literally recording the comments of other students in class and deliberately derailing discussion.
100,000 sim cards is nothing - there are 12 million phone users in NYC. And this is a 35-mile radius. Sounds like a spam farm, but not "threatening infrastructure," come on. As usual, the press parrots whatever the cops say, without asking an expert for a few elementary calculations.
Of course you can't trust anything the feds say any more. When I saw those pictures it reminded me of PR shots of drug busts with drugs, guns, and cash laid out on a table. Turns out i was right:
I hope the Democrats are happy that preserving their relationship to AIPAC was more important to them than preserving democracy. They lost because of their Gaza policy. That's not virtue signaling. It's not Stein or Nader. Until they learn to tell the difference, they'll keep losing.
