So much happening in just a few sentences:
Personally, it's kind of dumb. It's just a vehicle. So it's ironic that it would even become a political statement, but nonetheless it is. [Editor's note: Taylor was arrested and convicted of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding in the January 6 attack on the Capitol. He was later pardoned by President Trump.]

I need to look into Richard Waldrep. He did the album art for this collection and most of it is weird as hell
Four guys losing their absolute shit on the stoop of a brownstone. Two of them are doing universal party gestures. One greaser looking character has his mouth open wide and his hands clamped over his ears like he can't even contain himself. A man with thin sunglasses and an even thinner tie raises his arms in the back An elderly person making a sort of shrug gesture The full album cover of "The Rock 'N' Roll Era" 1964 volume released by Time Life. The boys are losing their shit over a dame walking past, namely her smooth white legs made more shapely by the red high heel, high top chuck taylor shoes she's wearing. I can't establish what the older person behind the window is thinking. It's sort of like the "sickos" guy, but instead of "yes.. haha" it says "1964" 1964

I should put out a menorah and hang up a bunch of multicultural woke shit in the hallway where it happened, but a different crew gonna fix it. Plus as we've already established I'm a lover not a fighter
Yeah... realized after the fact that it was the same guy put a big crack in my ceiling from working in the attic, too!
I don't know what my point with this is. I had a good time smoking cigarettes with those guys & chatting with them despite whatever political differences, right up until that moment. What a spectacular way to completely blow through all the good will they had built up.
Because what can you do? I'm not going to start shit with four MAGA guys who did the thing I paid them to do. I'm not even going to leave a bad review... they know where I live, and there's not really a positive outcome gonna come from that
And he's gonna get away with it too. I'm all Karened out from dealing with the plumbing company before I hired this one. I just said "watch it man, I'm jewish" or something and he kind of apologized, kind of walked it back.. we kind of laughed it off.
I'm not "hurt," but I did wake up thinking about how bad of a sign of the times it is that anyone thinks it's okay to talk this way ever, much less to a CUSTOMER, much less a CUSTOMER HANDING YOU $6000. That is what's absolutely crazy to me

Thinking about listening to "trip hop" music while am on drugs. I can't quite place why, but I feel like those two things might just jibe? Will report back on my experience.

Still processing the fact that earlier today a contractor made a jew joke to me *as I was literally writing him a check*
I have no wish to alarm you, but you are My bluesky account wife. I show your posts to my co-workers. "Please, I don't like how this painting makes me feel, and the disquiet grows the longer I gaze. But good art makes you feel something, yes?" I reply: that's my wife and I love her so much
I admit, I'm Bibles Georg. My brain is so galaxy sized they couldn't even fit it on the chart (too bright, also):
Ad for holy scapes bible word game:

"People who often play Bible word game", and beneath that a brain that looks like it's lid up BRIGHT.

and below that:

"People who never play Bible word game" above a brain that's barely lit up at all
I like the term "internet story." That's what it is. Like a fragmented portrait of a (flawed) human being we can glean from whatever notorious thing they did using their computer. It's interesting, these modern myths. I'm high as hell, hope make sense. Will have to see if I have that P.K. Dick
Hi, I can't answer the phone right now (jammin'). Please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can (hope you like jammin' too)
BREAKING:

- Christianity up 4000 basis points YoY
- Jesus polling high 60s favorability in 2028
- If count acts like Johnny Cash, Christian music HUGE again

This is JOURNALISM. Journalism BASED on DATA.

[cut to ad for crypto shit called GodWallet or w/e is dumb they sell on Fox now]
these metrics are not meaningfully connected to the claim
Eric Daugherty: JUST IN: Stunning data reveals Christianity is SURGING in the United States

Bible sale: +41.6%
App downloads: +79.5%
Christian music streaming: +50%

What an amazing sight to see.
Genuinely such a fascinating tale in its own right, but it's also aged into a fairly representative example of why things are the way they are now. Like if there were a horror anthology about how the internet made 2025 the way it is, TempleOS would be a fun "monster of the week" episode

they should give traffic lights a few more colors, it could repair cultural divides as drivers collaboratively intuit their meaning
A "turn based" strategy as it were
I'm assigned to one of the placebo Vaults so I should be fine
"average person downloads 3 bible apps a year" factoid actualy just statistical error. average person downloads 0 bible apps per year. Bibles Georg, who is a TempleOS power user & downloads over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted
It's SURGING dude. There is a fucking Christian TSUNAMI headed straight for the eastern seaboard at nearly the speed of sound and you don't think that's breaking news??
Does the universal solvent still work if you apply it upside down?
