yeah! you gotta strike a balance between "these are the equivalent traits they would have if they were socialized as a different gender" and "this is an OC". unfortunately with takumi so much of him is Default Male that making him Default Female would result in a very different character lmao

butch fem takumi could have a complicated relationship with gender in that she worries she's too masculine for guys to like her, "normal" fem takumi could struggle between wanting to be feminine vs. a life that requires her to be violent and take charge

there are two wolves with fem takumi. one is "he's a traditionally masculine guy so as a girl he'd be butch" and one is "a large part of his character is being Normal and Average so as a girl he'd be Normal Girl, i.e., feminine". both are good but the flavors are different

anomaly arbitration sucks and is bad except for when i give big dan to phainon/sunday/robin and suddenly i get 3 stars on the third knight. then it's good. but only for the third knight, the rest of it sucks

it's been a while since i played the game but the first episode seemed pretty similar and was also just entertaining in its own right, and the animation and voice acting are solid! i'm definitely hopeful that it'll stick the landing

i sat here for ten minutes trying to think of something funny or interesting to say about gnosia having three nonbinary characters but nothing worked so i'll just say that gnosia has three nonbinary characters. it's great for other reasons also but that is a notable attribute
