If their greed were good for the economy, it wouldn’t be crushing it from the top down.

That’s not economics. It’s gaslighting.

Steve Bannon being friends with Jeffrey Epstein after spending years doing his whole populist, “down with the elites” bullshit is so funny.

These entire movement is just criminals, liars, and sex offenders.

That's why the bulldozing was done without notice. It's a common Trump developer tactic.

Another way Trump drives up your costs?

He sidelined the cops who make sure banks and payday lenders follow the law.

Last year those cops ordered more than a billion dollars returned to Americans who were cheated.

This year Trump is letting the cheaters keep YOUR money.

- working with Congress to pass Ai Safety legislation
- work on ways to actually use Ai to better society without gatekeeping the benefits from the non-rich: medicine, etc
Next decent Democratic POTUS is gonna need an Ai Czar, a point person to deal with all the threats and whatever benefits of it like:

- prepping for the Ai bubble burst
- UBI for if/when Ai and/or the burst kills jobs
- environmental threat of Ai
- working with Ai barrons to offset the above threats

Open industry secret: most political non-fiction books get purchased by foundations or non-profits to be given out with giftbags at events. 100,000 people aren't buying a book by Lauren Boebert on the future of America. GOP operatives are and giving them away for free as "gifts." BEST SELLER!

This has to be a joke.

I once heard a podcast with Nuzzi and she sounded fine, nothing like this. What is going on? Did someone AI clone her voice and do this as a prank?
Many of the Goodreads reviews for Nuzzi's books complain about the narration, but I wasn't prepared for how bad the audiobook really is.

Would Putin have invaded Ukraine if Trump had never been elected?

Trump's enabling of other authoritarians didn't help. Trump enabling Putin in Helsinki didn't help.

Trump really fucked the world in his first term.

As for the pandemic, other U.S. Presidents were able to contain epidemics from becoming pandemics, specifically Bush II and Obama.

Trump's cuts to the CDC in 2018 didn't help. HIs incompetent management of COVID didn't help.
Israel's Nakba obviously predates Trump, but having a far-right authoritarian lead the U.S. and tinker with the Middle East didn't help. Moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem didn't help. The Abraham Accords didn't help.

The pandemic, the post-pandemic inflation, Putin's invasion of Ukraine, 10/7, and Israel's genocide, I believe, were all influenced by Trump's global destabilization.
That Democrats keep flipping all these seats and Republicans aren't flipping any bodes well for next year and 2028.

Unless they steal the election, I think we'll win but it'll be harder to win in 2032 as those 4 short years still won't be enough to clean up trump's mess.

There’s a real chance he strokes out tonight in a fit of rage.
Trump 0-3 on indicting Tish James and just had his ass handed to him by Indiana Republican legislators he threatened and bullied. Also new low in AP poll at 36% approval.

Wow, incredible. The country has grown very tired of his bullshit.
Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!
