This idea that it is somehow perfectly normal to refuse to live next door to people you don’t have enough in common with is bizarre to me. If you want a relationship with your neighbors, GO BE NICE TO THEM. If you don’t, you are totally free to keep to yourself. This is adulthood.

For the purposes of this newsletter, I will say Drake is from Toronto and Kendrick is from Los Angeles. Dodger fans love Kendrick, and he loves the team back (there's even a song on his latest album called "Dodger Blue," which Nolan Arenado keeps posting on his Instagram stories as a cry for help.) Meanwhile, Drake claims the Blue Jays, but Blue Jays fans do not claim him. Jays fans claim Geddy Lee of Rush, who is about the coolest person on Earth not named Beyoncé. Drake also has a home in Los Angeles (I think???) so we will see if he has the poor judgment to show up to his own roast Angeles (I think???) so we will see if he has the poor judgment to show up to his own roast tonight. Kendrick's diss track about Drake, "Not Like Us," has become an LA anthem. The Dodger Stadium DJ and organist will it at each World Series game no less than 40 times, including during team introductions. This will not be aimed at the Blue Jays (or the country of Canada!!), as the Dodger Stadium setlist is Kendrick heavy every night. If Drake shows up, I will do my best to remind everyone that he is the NBA's most enthusiastic bandwagon fan and not in any way responsible for the Jays fate!
