My early economic forecast for 2025:

Market will fall 10% from start of year to end
Unemployment will end at 5% by end of next year.
Inflation will be at about 6.5% annual rate by end of the year.
The general global economy will be trending towards recession.

I am making my economic bets on this.
This football game is off the rails and crashing into a ravine.

I asked ESPN Research and they asked Elias Sports Bureau and they looked back as far as they could (to 1978) and it would appear Jalen Hurts is the first player to ever commit two turnovers in one play. Isn't history beautiful?

Jalen Hurts turns it over twice on one play, the Eagles fan reaction is classic

Three turnovers on one play has to be a record.
….does this go down as both an interception and a fumble for Hurts

i don't know what Notre Dame expected. It is what a conference does. The Irish have chosen not to participate in football. ACC did what it really should be doing. Notre Dame could always join a conference that would push for them if they want.

Notre Dame AD: ACC caused 'permanent damage'
Notre Dame's AD ripped the ACC after its CFP snub, saying the conference that houses almost every Fighting Irish team has caused "permanent damage" to the relationship.

Kind of wish FSU had done this a few years ago.

Bama lost to FSU. That albatross should keep them out of the playoff.

I don’t know if it will actually happen. I strongly suspect it won’t. But I welcome if it does.

The US’s spot as economic and military is dead. The inertia will carry the corpse on for about five to ten years before most people notice. But the damage Trump and his gang of shitbag Republicans will take 20-50 years to fix, if it can be fixed. 1/

The fact that FSU being bad torpedoes Miami and, possibly, the ACC in the CFP is the one thing that makes me laugh about how bad FSU was this year. And how the hell did they beat 'Bama?

Wait, he went to Baylor. I thought the Baptist didn't consider Mormons Christian. But a lot of them don't think the Catholics are Christian. To be fair, Miami is the devil. Ole Miss is just chaos.
