My early economic forecast for 2025:

Market will fall 10% from start of year to end
Unemployment will end at 5% by end of next year.
Inflation will be at about 6.5% annual rate by end of the year.
The general global economy will be trending towards recession.

I am making my economic bets on this.

George Santos is a convicted criminal and genuinely bad person, caught stealing from a fund to get medical care for a veteran’s service dog, and other victims along similar lines.
A jury convicted him. But America now has a pro-fraud president—who also hates dogs and disdains vets—so Santos is free.

I’ll be honest. If you had given me a million to one odds this time last year the Bernie Sanders would say anything at all like this, I wouldn’t have taken it because I never thought such a statement possible. I’m still confused it was said.
