I've seen "red flags" be used to mean "reasonable but controversial" like... "it's a red flag if they have kids because I'm not ready to have kids yet"
or
"it's a red flag if they wont stop talking about their shitty ex" (when some ppl have good reasons for this)

My partner has dietary restrictions. Substitution is fun for me since it offers a challenge. I don't mind cooking vegetarian or vegan. I can cook without dairy or gluten. I like making foods that taste deceptively similar to the restricted foods. I can make a MEAN dairy free mac.

I do feed my friends and family who are picky eaters cuz feeding people in general is my platonic love language. Whether that means taking them out to eat or making smth simple.
I just don't get to get as fancy with my cooking if I end up cooking for them. That's fine for friends and family.

One of my best friends prefers plain pasta with butter over pasta sauce. I would be a little sad if we lived together and I was unable to make a number of my favorite pasta sauces for them.
I wouldn't want them to pretend to like my cooking for my own sake either.

It sucks because it's an internal battery. Not one of those clip on ones like my dell was. I've never changed an internal laptop battery and Ive heard its a bitch to shove all the pieces back in once you take them out.
