I've seen "red flags" be used to mean "reasonable but controversial" like... "it's a red flag if they have kids because I'm not ready to have kids yet"
or
"it's a red flag if they wont stop talking about their shitty ex" (when some ppl have good reasons for this)

My partner has dietary restrictions. Substitution is fun for me since it offers a challenge. I don't mind cooking vegetarian or vegan. I can cook without dairy or gluten. I like making foods that taste deceptively similar to the restricted foods. I can make a MEAN dairy free mac.

I'll give an example:
One of my best friends prefers plain pasta with butter over pasta sauce. I would be a little sad if we lived together and I was unable to make a number of my favorite pasta sauces for them.
I wouldn't want them to pretend to like my cooking for my own sake either.

I'm talking about romantic partners not friends or family. And it's because I cook as a part of my romantic love language.
Everybody has something they dislike. I prefer to be able to make a wide variety of foods for my romantic partner. Not every person with autism has restrictive diets either.

I have my partner rasterize all 3D layers before importing to my laptop. My partner has a regularly updated version of EX and I have Pro so I feel you.

It sucks because it's an internal battery. Not one of those clip on ones like my dell was. I've never changed an internal laptop battery and Ive heard its a bitch to shove all the pieces back in once you take them out.
