if you're going to a protest today I wish you luck. The only specific thing I will beg of you is this: don't use milk to wash out tear gas or mace. if you see a street medic with milk, yell at them until they throw it out. do not continue to spread lies about emergency medicine.

Portland: if a streamer from out of state gets arrested or detained, perhaps wait to see if he gets more than a citation before donating $100,000+ to his "legal defense". that money is vastly in excess of what he might possibly need and could have gone to helping people in serious legal jeopardy

Well, technically they are not allowed to marry (they promise they won't), so they can fuck, it's just sinful like for any other Catholic since it's outside of marriage. This is also the loophole needed to bring in married Orthodox and Anglican priests, should they change sides.

They are not exactly the type to acknowledge a meaning if that does not serve their little obsession. Complexity is bad for them. Their inner world is made possible by stark simplicity, like never really playing the game, or painting; most of them latched on the fluff, and decided it was about them.

TBH they also get some things about Gen X movies that are both true and depressing, like how in Dead Poets Society nothing changes in the school's collective zeitgeist and the fact that the individual kids are somehow personally enlightened means jack shit, and it's not a glimmer of hope.
