If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

This is the same studio the made The Finals, which also used AI generated voices. If you're not going to pay voice actors to do lines, pay designers to actually make your assets, and pay writers to come up with your story, then you shouldn't be making games.
Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

I do hate to do this but the fact that something that should have been kept personal WASN'T makes me upset. A now ex friend is labeling my close friend as some kind of manipulator and cheater to other people when that's far from the truth and I'm just. TIRED.
