One thing which bugs me about Canadian Thanksgiving is when people comment about how its the canadian version of the US holiday.

Canadian Thanksgiving is a harvest festival and has completely different origins. We just call it the same thing.

I do something like that when i get a spam call on my work phone. I answer it then calmly explain they reached my desk and ask how can i assist them today.
