I'm finding it hard to articulate how angry I am about this. I mean, between the Bolsheviks, Stalin, and the Nazis my family had fuck all by the time they got here, perhaps for the best eh?
Just wilful performative cruelty that is entirely out of step with the majority of British people.

How many Labour MPs got into politics in order to vote for stealing jewellery off of people seeking refuge from war and persecution?

Scum, absolute scum
Burglars broke into the house of a former Royal Engineer and stole his medals – together with the WW1 medals of his grandfather – while he was attending an Armistice Day event on Tuesday. The veteran, in his 60s, had cycled the Western Front Way this year to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

I see you, and I'm judging you 👀
Using the Nazi bar analogy, if you still post on Twitter, you're a drinker who continues to frequent a pub where patrons attack black and brown customers and the landlord then buys them a drink.
X is in clear + systemic breach of its legal duties in the UK to remove unlawful content from its platform.

Proof: when X users abuse + harass others with the racial slur "paki", X reporting system defends the racist abuse in more than 90% of cases reported.

A new thread documenting this.

I think the best comment I've heard so far about BBC bias is that anyone with an opinion thinks the BBC is biased in the other direction. Does this make them like a fair and balanced ref who pisses off both sets of fans equally?

I don't know who, I don't know why, but every week or so someone drives past my house blaring out Renegade Master and it honestly makes my evening

How was my drive to work? I'll illustrate it with me playing the part of Gabriel Bortoleto and a total prick in an artic playing the part of Lance Stroll

We used to know not to do this, between Asimov's laws of robotics and IBM's rules on management decisions (see below). Someone took the brakes off for profit and now we're on the Skynet timeline.

Not just a great match report, global food for thought for all writers: before you hit "publish", interrogate your motives:

"no one wants to be reminded of it and, while writing it might be cathartic, reading it will only be depressing"

Interesting tangent: "pop up bars" are now seen as the home of liberalism in England.
