Building a population's cognitive resilience - discernment - critical thinking - is a crucial frontier of civil defense.
Taiwan works hard on this too, they debunk and educate a lot.
But yes critical thinking is a skill that needs to be in the schools - kids figuring out when someone is lying to them is an ancient art
