There isn't a HAP rental available in the entire city.

These are in Gurranabraher, there's stacks more all over the northside. Metal shutters, rotting with damp, month on month, year on year. The CC would bring them into use if they had funds, the govt won't fund it

An interesting side note to the count was the poll in NI that suggested most there would have voted for Connolly.

As brexit sends NI rolling towards Reunification, it seems the tradition of voting along green/orange lines are fading there.

People in Northern Ireland were more likely to have voted for Catherine Connolly in the Irish presidential election if they had a ballot, a poll suggests.
Voters in the Republic went to the polls on Friday to decide who would become the country’s 10th president.

Some 33% of respondents said they would have backed Ms Connolly, 19% said Ms Humphreys and 13% said they didn’t know, but would vote.
Another 8% said they wouldn’t vote or would have spoiled their ballot, while 27% said they were not, and wouldn’t want to be, an Irish citizen, so they wouldn’t participate.
Analysis of responses by which NI political party they voted for in the last Assembly election shows 81% of Sinn Fein voters would have backed Ms Connolly, compared to just 2% of DUP and UUP voters, and no TUV supporters. Meanwhile, 45% of SDLP voters and 23% of Alliance supporters would have backed the Fine Gael candidate.
Ms Humphreys had the most support when it came to SDLP voters (38%) and the UUP at 37%, while only 4% of Sinn Fein voters backed her. Some 22% of DUP supporters, 14% of TUV voters and 23% of Alliance supporters said they would cast their ballot for Ms Humphreys.
