I thought of you again today @katebradbury.bsky.social when a tortoiseshell decided to formally adopt me 🦋 there are at least 2 that prefer our meadow garden to circle, sunbathe & twirl with each other but today perhaps they recognised relatives on my leggings & decided I was family #smallthings🧡🤍🖤

Hey @katebradbury.bsky.social rereading One Garden Against The World has been my post op therapy, both at Preston Neuro Unit & now back in my own wonderful wild recovery unit! The birds are having to fend for themselves for once because the feeders aren’t full of delicacies! Will do them good! 😃
