J'aime la Gaspésie! Spent a month there once, it was magical and the cleanest air I've ever inhaled - the sea, pine, herbs, spices and flowers. Beautiful place.

Such a great trip! I fell utterly in love with Santa Fe, the Jemez and the Pueblos to the southwest of there.

I was so young (19) I didn't
know enough to visit the O'Keefe's homestead but I won't miss it next time. She's a longtime favorite of mine.

Years ago when I came upon this statue behind the Arlington public library, I wept. It's all that exists there to remind us of what was once all Indian land in Massachusetts.

It's a beautiful spot, a glade behind it. I stayed a long time, imagining.
