NOT ONE HEADLINE

Not one has a single mention of Labour’s outstanding achievements on workers rights, BBC Charter, Planning Rules, Investigation of Russian interference in our politics.

In fact, another comment on the media calling this a surprise fall is needed.

Last month the drop by 0.2% was actually lower than I expected...I'd had conversations with people suggesting 3.2% was a possibility for LAST month.

But the media missed the trick then to criticise Labour for....

This poll makes a Plaid vote easy. In England, though, it's Reform that leads, while in most polls Labour is ahead of the Greens and in all polls is ahead of the LibDems. That means in the majority of constituencies Labour is best-placed to keep Reform out. So, is beating Reform your priority?

Lots of terrible reporting in UK media. Most Erasmus participants are not at university ! It covers higher education, schools, vocational education, training, adult education, youth services, sport. It particularly targets disadvantaged groups.

UK rejoining Erasmus, if confirmed and if in full, is good news for young people and education and training in UK and EU. And for EU-UK relations. In short-term, a win for the reset. In long-term, for mutual understanding. Those who get to know other countries tend to like them for life.

Warmonger Trump, who campaigned on getting us out of foreign conflicts and focusing on the economy, has been bombing and threatening other countries nonstop since he got in office and is now going to war with Venezuela for oil to distract from his wretched economic record.

HURRAH! Petitions are crap at making gov'ts do things they don't want to. But they are good for two things: First, making them explain why they won't do something, but second (and more important) nudging/giving them permission to do something they DO want, but that's been crowded out bandwidth-wise.

Fabulous from Labour
And just like that, the historic Employment Rights Bill lands. Sick pay from day one. Day-one parental leave. Unfair dismissal rights after six months. Ban fire-and-rehire. Bereavement leave. Protections for pregnant women. Tougher redundancy rules. Fair Work Agency to enforce rights. #ukpolitics

Louise Haigh was instrumental in getting the law changed around NDAs. To stop powerful business leaders abusing their power to keep secret their wrongdoing in the workplace most often against people who could not stand up to them. Now part of Workers Rights Bill. Thank you Louise 👏👏👏

Banning exploitative zero hour contracts.

Sick pay from day one.

Banning fire and rehire.

Stronger family leave.

One of the absolute best politicians we are blessed to have : Angela Rayner
Long may we have her to do such amazing work 👌
A big thank you to Angela Rayner for her work on 2 bills which are going for Royal Assent (likely this week).

The Employment Rights Bill
The Planning and Infrastructure Bill

Both are flagship pieces of legislation from our Labour government.

She guided both through most stages in Parliament.

‼️ Zelensky: Putin publicly lied, claiming that Russian forces had already taken Kupiansk. So I went to Kupiansk to show the world that Putin is lying.

Let’s look at Russia’s history since 1991. Russia has changed: it has been poor and rich, and it has gone from oligarchy to dictatorship.
