i just recently tried a bonnet and i love it!! had it for a month and accidentally left it behind on my work trip and immediately had to order a replacement, it SO quickly became an essential item for me.

this was in the entryway of the vrbo i stayed at for the conference i was at last week. small print summarized, i was staying in a townhouse built where stevie nicks’s mom previously lived and ran a fleetwood mac gift shop! fuck gentrification but also OFMD is everywhere if you want it to be!

Stevie Nicks is a music legend that has strong Phoenix connections. She is the only women to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame two separate times! Once for her contributions to the group Fleetwood Mac and the other as a solo artist.
Stevie Nicks was born in Phoenix, but her family moved around a great deal before her parents eventually settled in Paradise Valley in 1972.
Nicks returned to Arizona in 1981 and built a home in Paradise Valley, the same year she released "Bella Donna," her quadruple-platinum solo debut. By that point, she had already been the voice of the number one smash single "Dreams" with the group Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie's mother, Barbara Nicks, opened a gift shop in Scottsdale in the 70's selling dolls, antiques and mementos that her famous daughter donated. The gift shop was called Silver Springs Emporium after the Fleetwood Mac song "Silver Springs". The gift shop relocated to Payson and was operational for 11 years before it was brought back to Scottsdale in 2010 occupying a 3-bedroom house across from the iconic Valley Ho hotel,
In 2021, the Fleetwood project purchased the land that housed the Silver Springs gift shop owned by Barbara Nicks. It was named Fleetwood because of its ties to the great Stevie Nicks. Six multi-level townhouses were constructed in 2021 and finished in 2022.
Fleetwood 2 is the townhome that you are looking at right now. It is a rock-themed 4-story home that pays tribute to the great Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac and all of the great musical legends of the 70's.

genuine question, as i’m not a part of the dan and phil fandom (phandom?) and barely know who they are but i’m chronically online enough to have learned—i thought we already knew they were dating? wasn’t this confirmed like earlier this year or last year or something? i feel like i’m in a time warp?

but long story short and vague, i learned something this weekend that at previous points in my life would have been utterly devastating but instead i found incredibly validating and my reaction to learning it feels like such a proof of personal growth and i’m really proud of myself.

shhhh don’t tell anyone that i volunteered to gate check my bag but then i panicked when i got to the end of the jetway and didn’t know where to leave it so i just took it on the plane with me and bc i volunteered they let me board early so there was plenty of overhead room 🤫
