Affordable Food Clubs thrive as places of connection and community. By removing stigma, creating safe spaces, and offering support beyond simply food, Affordable Food Clubs are able to help tackle some of the drivers of poverty and help members move away from dependency on emergency food aid.
A green speech bubble contains the quote: “I don't feel ashamed like I did when I used the food bank and I’m not as stressed as normal, which is good for my mental health.” Below, the text reads “Affordable Food Club Member.” In the top right corner is the Feeding Britain logo, showing a map of the UK with the words “Feeding Britain – A Hunger Free UK.”
