I've been feeling rather
sad/furious/scared/exhausted/broken/isolated

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected for the inaugural Golden Egg Writing Residency at La Colemena de Montserrat in January 2026. Ten days to focus on my current writing project. And stare out the window at those magnificent mountains. Feeling very lucky. 😍

It is remarkable to think Ellen Thesleff painted this portrait of her sister Thyra Elisabeth in 1892. After leaving Finland the previous year to study in Paris, Ellen returned home and became one of the key figures who introduced Impressionism to the country.
