The irony is that he would be a great coach at a school that has a respectable program but doesn’t necessarily aspire to national championship contention every year.

A school just like Northwestern.

I won’t miss walking out of Beaver Stadium after another loss to OSU due to coaching bullshit. But.

It’s not hard to understand. I don’t dig the timing of the firing but I definitely understand it.

And it’s hard because he’s a good man. Great culture and character guy. Great with media, great in theory.

He also gave us one (1) victory over Ohio State, and that one required one of the greatest fluke Block-6s you’ll ever see. Three wins over Michigan, none of which occurred when UM was ranked higher than PSU (tho, best opener to a whiteout ever in 2019).

I am surprised they acted this quickly. Not shocked, but surprised. I know it’s because the State College Buddy Garrity Council was on the phone to Pat Kraft until 3am with threats and atomic wedgies and purple nurples.

I have never. EVER. seen the Beaver Stadium fanbase as violent and hateful toward their own team as they were yesterday. This was Philly Fan levels of vitriol. The entire student section had the chants going in the first quarter.

They booed Drew’s decisions, Andy’s play calls, James’s existence.

No matter. UCLA is winless and is gonna be facing 22 very pissed off men looking to get reveNope they lost that game in the most embarrassing fashion I’ve ever EVER witnessed as a PSU fan. And I have been to some stinkers.
