Like the sharpest of knives. And that is why they became her weapon of choice.” He shook his head. “But she was never able to land the killing blow in the end.” “I wish she had.” When Wataru spoke once more, he was very quiet. “I understand what it is like to be in love with someone who has hurt you. To be lying mortally wounded at their feet, and to still hope for their hands to be the ones to bring you succor.”

Last night I got to visit the massive winter crow roost in Lawrence, MA, where (for unknown reasons) up to 15,000 American crows and fish crows come together each night to sleep. Sound on!! Unless you have a Hitchcock-related phobia. 🧪
