You sit there, no clue what's happening to you, when you start feeling weight in parts you don't have. Your wings, your tail, your horns. Your hands look wrong when you look down at them to try and steady yourself. Where are your claws? Shouldn't you have claws? Your hand looks bare without scales.

Dragon approaches you at a café one day; all they ask is to hear you firmly say “I am not a dragon” and you just. can’t. your voice wavers in a way that they notice even if you didn’t, and it only gets shakier from there. Despite your best efforts, they know you don't mean it. You can't mean it.
