I don’t care about bits as far as there are between 8 and 16 of them…
Let there be sound!!
Sound finally added to my Rust port of my Atari 2600 emulator. Well… not perfect yet but a first version.
I couldn’t resist to let you enjoy those beautiful Space Invaders sound FX. That’s music to my ears… well… sort of.

First milestone reached for the Rust version of my Atari 2600 emulator: Pac-Man works flawlessly (and some other games as well). Next milestone besides fixing this ugly aspect ratio: Sound!

It’s been such a long time… Working again a bit on the Rust port of my Atari 2600 emulator. Still a long way to go but progress have been made 😊

How the f# Oblivion is still so buggy 20 years after? It looks like they even ported the bugs… not a single game session without a complete crash.

Eclipse has a very convenient ssh client to my taste. Besides this, I want to hang myself every day as it’s become a pitiful IDE. Any recommendation for a replacement with a great SSH extension?

An interesting perspective about vibe coding / no code... Developing without developers has been a fantasy since as long as I can remember (and I'm not getting younger 😆).

Porting my Atari 2600 emulator to Rust is quite a fun journey, but what a bumpy road. Doesn’t look great right now 😆

L'Aigle D'or (The Golden Eagle) was among the very best adventure games developed in France in the 1980s.
It originated on the Oric-1 before being ported to this machine you see here (my Thomson TO7/70) and then to the Amstrad CPC.

Anyone out there who used Asesprite? I’m planning on (maybe) creating a few things for the Amstrad CPC. Is this software worth it ? Useful ? Convenient ?
