Hello! This account is all about finding the space to breathe and focus in our hectic teaching lives. It’s these spaces (sometimes only a few nanoseconds long) which allow us to find the most useful response to enable our pupils to learn, progress and self regulate.

Feeling out of control in the classroom?

It doesn't mean you're a bad teacher.

It doesn't mean you're in the wrong profession.

BUT

It does mean that you need to pull back your energies and recoup.💚

Night night sweet dreamies

You did your best today, and that’s enough.
Let go gently, breathe deeply, and speak to yourself with kindness.

You are growing, healing, learning and that makes you extraordinary.

Sleep softly. You deserve that

I was told that we bless people after sneezing because whilst your eyes are closed and you mouth open the devil could jump in and possess you. Anyone else know this or just my godmother?
Saying "bless you" after someone sneezes is completely unnecessary. It's basically just acknowledging you heard it, and no one wants that. We should just stop doing it.
