Me too! The Lark Hall Show?
Bob Mould at Lark Hall. A man with a guitar stands in front of a curtain. There’s a spotlight on them. He is wearing a T-shirt. He is bald. He is middle-aged. He is a rock God.

Why do people believe it is acceptable to attend hearings from a car? I average around three Zoom hearings a week and I always manage to be at my desk for them. It’s not difficult. (Yes, it’s outrageous that he said that but come on, my dude.)

He says he didn't mean for the judge to hear the insult, but she did. And she's not amused.

If you don’t give it to us, we’ll take it is both very cop coded and very East Greenbush. I hope that Jill & the Board tell Conway, “Fuck you, make me, & seize at your peril.”

I would also challenge the necessity of this on utility grounds. “Nice to have” is not legitimate use or public necessity.

I took a nap today. It was lovely. I take a quick nap most days & I also work out most days. I guess what I am saying is that I don't need this type of negativity in my life, Outside.

It has been one of my favorite topics of conversation for more than a month now. I am delighted by many things but this is more delightful than most of them. Also the mosquitos.

Who is this article for? Who is the intended audience?

I really think it is for spouses, family, & friends can share it with the runners in their lives as some sort of journalistic coup de grâce.

The snark is strong here. I can only imagine how this embarrassment will resonate with a group of people who are thin skinned to the point that they are still re-litigating “slights” from the ‘80s.

This is very funny and it will also cause someone to Google and then be up all night.

(Which is even funnier)

I am 51. Yesterday I ran my first sub 60 minute 10K since 1992 when I was just 17 (if you know what I mean). We even stopped twice to answer the call of nature (once each), giving me the opportunity to take a selfie.

I’m a little proud of myself.
On hail trail in Saratoga County, a man wearing a Buff head wrap, goodr sunglasses, a 3/4 zip from craft, and an Adidas shirt with a rock the Ridge 50 mile challenge logo on it smiles while looking at the camera. There are fond leaves on the grass and on the rail trail. There’s cloud cover with some clear sky in the far background.

To be perfectly clear, all I want from elected officials in Brunswick & Rensselaer County is the same commitment to pedestrian infrastructure that they give to paving, milling, repaving, milling, & repaving again roads.

That is an admirable goal. Knowing that I am not capable of that level of self-control, my goal has been to try to be as positive (kind, compassionate) as I can.

The interesting thing is that I see people that I know IRL saying things on that platform that they would never say in real life. In one instance, I know this person has trans friends but they’re denying the humanity of and demonizing trans people with glee.

I have a hard time believing that I am in the top 25% for my age group for the 5K. (This isn’t a humblebrag. I am quite content with my back of the pack status. Maybe the people that are running 5Ks around here are just fast faster.)
