40 deaths THAT WE KNOW OF of if you count ICE’s two recent murders and the young disabled man who died last week because his primary caregiver, his father was detained even though they were informed that his son was likely to die without him. The actual number of deaths is undoubtedly much higher.
Please keep in mind this number does not include people who died in ICE detention. Last year 32 died in custody, the most in decades. This year there have already been 5 deaths-- including one ruled a homicide
