Ah, The Dungeon of Drax... But first, much fun is to be had in actually getting to the dungeon. Palace's follow up to the original hanck 'n' slash added so much more & was heartily rewarded for it. For me, it is one of the shining examples of #C64 games dun gud.

Last Duel
So, another new one on me - think LED Storm and then make it much worse - BINGO! I think this was an #Amiga developed game and then ported "down" to the #C64. I'm not sure which version is worse... It "should" be an okay game and it could have been, but, the lack of speed...

Last Duel

40 years ago, budding pixel artists (this was still a VERY new thing) had few outlets beyond CNET to show off their creations. So we started printing their C64 pics in ZZAP! Several of these artists went on to big things, which is no surprise considering their incredible talent.

I was never a fan of this BITD, thinking the jump mechanic was stoopid. However, having just played it for a few goes this morning, it's way better than the #C64 SFII attempt. In fact, don't we now have that cool Capcom vs SNK, or something..? SFII had a remake, or no?

Amiga Power!!! Amiga 1200! My new purchase! After years, finally getting back my beloved Blizzard IV 030/50MHz turbo card. With 20GB HDD. The keyboard membrane needs the replacement though. Gonna fix it and my old original Amiga in tower as well! I love classic #Amiga.
