Brexit was supposed to "Take back control" of immigration. But it's been such a disaster that only 19% think it's working. The majority now want to return to the system we had before we left the EU – including a majority of Reform voters!

This was Nigel Farage's infamous "Breaking Point" poster. It helped convince millions that Brexit would "Take Back Control" of our borders. People now see it was just another Farage lie – one directly inspired by imagery used by the Nazis in the Third Reich.

Of course, Farage said that. Putin weaponised millions of Syrian refugees, allowing Farage to stand in front of his 'Breaking Point' poster in 2016, a poster that echoed Nazi race hate propaganda.

The BBC's Chris Mason is little more than Farage's propaganda mouthpiece. And fanatical Brexiter Robbie Gibb should never have been allowed anywhere near the BBC. He was in charge of much of the BBC's political programming around the time of the referendum.

There should be a high bar for politicians attacking the media, but maybe Ed Davey has half a point here?

For example, the first three paragraphs of this BBC story repeat Reform's £243bn figure without saying that the thinktank behind the estimate now disowns it. (This is mentioned in paragraph 35)
