Because they know X and places like it are the only place they can find people who think it's okay for them to do this. Not the US courts like the laws require.

It's amazing that these people who never actually get out among us everyday people living and working in these cities and countries believe they know how it is here amongst us everyday people. And only they know the answers.

As someone from across the pond, my US rep and senators are all on here now along with a lot of good accounts so it is okay here.

Just waiting to see what happens since Elon is getting interested in Japan's politics. Those still on X...if he does to them what he did to the US and Europe...

Just to note, a lot of things people are trying to buy aren't made in the US and won't be made in the US. So people aren't going to spend that money here in the US, they just won't buy anything.

And they are a mess for anyone trying to directly buy from overseas. Many people receive erroneous expensive tariff bills from DHL because DHL employees are not converting Yen into US dollars correctly. They aren't even recognizing that it's Yen.

It's a mess.

SFPD doing a good job with drug busts there. Which these guys are ignoring this. Just like Noem's claim that the streets were cleared of protesters around ICE building for Noem's visit. Well, if Portland PD can do that then we don't need National Guard's help do we?

A show I watched recently? "The Paradise". Enjoyed the clever female lead and ensemble acting. The real star was the store. Really gorgeous!

Because it keeps you able-bodied. It's called wellness check-ups and vaccinations and testing for diseases that can become dangerous or deadly if not caught soon enough. Early prevention keeps people able-bodied.

It's sad that there are those who buy into her line of misdirection.

135% tariff on anything made in China? That includes items from other countries since tariffs are based on where made, not where sold.

It's not the job of people who live in Portland to have to prove every day that the US president is lying about Portland. They have been doing that, along with sharing the links to live cameras in the city.

We are doing this but honestly it's tiring to have to prove every day what reality is.

Seriously, why isn't someone in the news media asking him for proof of his claims? Or flat out tell him it's false, that Portland isn't on fire or boarded up. That's who is failing.

Thinking it's not unlike an extremely large family (over 20 members) boarding after their vacation in Hawaii and playing musical seats which delayed the flight taking off for at least 20 minutes.

I feel your pain.
