It took me and Rachel an embarrassingly long time to break the habit of using our daughter’s old pronouns, and it took her grandparents even longer (so, definitionally “beyond embarrassing,” I guess). They’ll get there eventually!

A few months ago, I rewatched the first movie for the first time since my childhood. My expectations were, frankly, low. The movie was almost shockingly good. Good script. Believable motivations. Excellent cinematography and amazing costumes.
