Roundup herbicide is an antibiotic. I didn't know that. It disrupts gut biota. I hate your fucking lawns.
Studies showed that Agent Orange could only affect plants as it worked specifically on a plant pathway that animals didn’t have. For years, veterans were accused of scamming the system.

Roundup is no different. 1/6

Nothing says racism, cruelty, hatred and weakness combined in one quite like the orange felon removing all free access to National Parks on federal holidays that honor black people whilst giving free access on his own birthday. He should’ve been sent to jail forever.

Context is critical. A good read.
Like @prisonculture.bsky.social, I've been worried about the ways popular myths of the civil rights movement make it hard to see how to struggle today. This is solid information but what's hidden in the data for "good states" is that Black, immigrant, and indigenous families still have similar "disparity" ratios. "We know that here in MN we're good at caring for patients unless they're Black" - CNO during orientation at my last hospital gig.
It is those who live in the states in the South and Midwest that ALREADY have the HIGHEST infant mortality and black babies who will suffer disproportionately as their state governors will like accede to ACIP's recommendation. 2/

Today is the 70th anniversary of Rosa Parks' arrest. Six myths: 1) She wasn't old or tired. 42 years old that day, she had a "life history of being rebellious" & had spent two decades helping to turn the Montgomery NAACP into a more activist branch alongside ED Nixon and Johnnie Carr.

Indigenous actor Elaine Miles of "Northern Exposure" was detained by ICE at a Redmond bus stop. When she showed them her Tribal ID, they told her it was fake.
