Newsom: We were under the understanding that we were going to close I-5 — up to 80,000 vehicles tomorrow and Saturday. They seemed to have backed off of that. They were going to move forward with a display, but they’re not clearly sharing that with state officials.

It’s simply absurd to say that the IDF deliberately kill civilians. Every shred of evidence shows that this is a terrible war where one side is trying to limit civilian casualties while the other deliberately work to maximize them. That’s Hamas’s strategy. They say so themselves.

They built 500km of tunnels, start a conflict to draw fire, and don’t allow a single civilian in the tunnels. They literally fire rockets from civilian areas and then go into the tunnels, leaving civilians to fend for themselves, while the IDF makes thousands of calls and texts to warn civilians.

The only death toll we have is from Hamas. It’s unverified. They don’t distinguish between civilians and Hamas, they include all natural deaths, and they include the Gazans they executed themselves.
Hamas also force civilians to stay in harm’s way.

They are executing Gazans in the streets right now, just like they did when they staged a coup years ago. They pilfer the aid money to enrich themselves, and they want to kill every Jew alive. This conflict has the lowest civilian to combatant ratio modern Middle Eastern urban warfare.

🤔. What do you suggest Israel do to protect its civilians? Hamas has proudly declared they will commit Oct. 7th attacks as often as possible. They hold the entire Gaza strip hostage, teaching children that their greatest aspiration is to blow themselves up killing Jews. Hamas kills their own.
