So I think the Epstein Files are the key to it all. I've always found it obvious that he was holding some major blackmail on many GOP in congress. It's just not plausible that they all rolled over & gave up all dignity & self respect just to avoid losing their seats..

Tbf, how many times did they investigate Benghazi & "her emails"?

The President wants to use the military to crack down on Americans who are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to oppose him. I can’t think of a better reason to insist on exercising those rights.

Attorneys General Nick Brown of Washington State (next post) and Jeff Jackson of North Carolina (below) explaining why TWENTY-FIVE states are suing the Trump administration over the looming suspension of SNAP. 1/3
They'd be cheered. The entire regime is so beyond idiocy
Not enough pressure on that spineless speaker.
How do you introduce legislation if the speaker abdicated his duties & refuses to call the House back?
Indicted for utilizing 1st amendment?
This case has been assigned to U.S. District Judge April Perry, the same judge who blocked President Donald Trump's deployment of National Guard troops within Illinois.

We'd be better off if he wasn't in congress. I doubt there's been a more spineless speaker.

Just days after I warned in TIME about the authoritarian playbook to defund the arts and rewrite history, the White House fired the entire Fine Arts Commission—6 members who review presidential construction projects, including Trump’s new ballroom. This isn’t coincidence. It’s confirmation.
Trump’s Campaign to Defund the Arts—and Rewrite History
"The campaign to defund the arts, capture our museums, and rewrite our history is a prelude to silencing dissent."

The future of the Democratic Party must be rooted in investing in the American people — not Wall St., corporations, and consultants.

Otherwise, Trumpism will continue to use cynicism, racism, and distrust to divide America.
None of us know anything about their household finances so we can't help him figure out if he can stay in their home. Same with all his drs. She did *everything* & didn't tell anyone anything so we're all hooped. Her death was sudden & unexpected. #planforlovedones
Please, make sure you have a plan for the care of your disabled loved ones. A friend died last week. Her hubby, a longtime friend, has medical issues & requires someone nearby 24/7. She left no instructions or plan. He's beyond crushed. None of us can grieve her as we're too worried about him #plan

Keep calling senators and reps. 202-224-3121. If you call after five it’s easier just leave a message. You’re an American constituent they don’t need to know any more details about you. It lets them know that we’re all against Trump‘s nonsense. It puts pressure on them.
Precedent for a spineless speaker who gleefully embraces fascism? Not to my knowledge.

The federal government has the money to continue funding SNAP benefits — they’re choosing to suspend it and harm millions of families across the country already struggling to make ends meet.

I’m leading a lawsuit against the Trump Administration to release these funds immediately.

A choice for kitchen tables to go empty right before the holidays. A choice to let kids go hungry. A choice to stretch our elders' already fixed incomes.

Our lawsuit is about government HELPING the people rather than causing more harm.
Long past due for that.
Can't file that motion to vacate when he refuses to call the House back.

So the president took a dementia test, and then they administered an MRI. Where’s the media on this?

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 84th day out of the last 96.

12 days of work in over 3 months.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.
& is there anything we can do to remove him as Speaker for abdication of duties & violating Oath of Office when he continues this childish bs?
