this is EXACTLY how i've described it in the past, having better eyes for art then your skill level makes it so hard to create

but being able to see imperfection in your work is a sign that you can grow, not a sign of lack of skill

finally doing a deep dive into inkscape to get away from illustrator a bit, and so far it's not bad! tons of little nitpicks, and a couple big things too, but it's definitely great for what it is

you want to edit text in a text box then back out of it to move it around? in illustrator, indesign, etc. just hit escape!
in after effects escape undoes any changes to the text box...

...the number of times i made a change, hit escape then had to do it again is absurd, it's muscle memory
