like im not defending any corporation that does shit like this and remakes never replace anything but like as much as nintendo sucks ass there have been internal attempts to get older games playable as far back as on the satellaview. sega has too

i know people say japan doesnt care about preservation at all but capcom has re-released 4 5 6 over and over again. people dont even like 6 yet they still did it a few years ago. they rerelease mega man games all the time. I dont necessarily think they were always this way

was just talking to lavender about this but i think genuienly tron was always kinda better set for TV thematically. There's just been too much time in between movies to truly get into Tron and Legacy's Religious and Anti-Authoritative/Anti-Fascist themes. They were left out of Ares completely
