A human hand, presumably regular sized, as in not some inhuman giant hand or anything, just a regular normal hand, and in it is held three baby turtles OMG they are so cute they aren't even as wide as a single finger! Just tiny little guys! Can you believe it??? They look very sincere and polite I wish I could feed them little leaves or other turtle food. They are adorable and you love them. 🔫👀 Say you love them. Say it.

gives harry just about the best space/relationship for healing short of yk. actual help or therapy. which i don't imagine he would have access to, & even if he did he wouldn't go without the(/some specific) events of the game happening. 6/6

so kim being non-judgemental (eg the swing scene), calm and rational when giving his explicitly requested opinion (the ending with jean and judit), willing to go along with harry's bullshit (the phasmid questline), reliably physically & emotionally present but with clear & consistent boundaries 5/6

but an expectation is something kim holds within himself & thus does not strictly require a 2nd party involved, which in turn makes it easy to disassociate from & dismiss ("if you're disappointed it's a you problem & on you to fix", "your expectations are unrealistic & nobody could fulfill them")4/6

*the only exception being he expects harry to be able to do his job which is a bar easily cleared imo! & it being a heavily implied expectation rather than a request or demand makes all the difference -- a demand can only be made of a *person*, undeniably alive, knowable, with specific traits 3/6

even when he's away for a bit, kim allows harry some input, specifies when he expects to leave & return, and crucially then keeps his word -- imo at that point harry can handle the brief separation so it's a well-timed little push towards recovery 2/6
