Ungeachtet aller "Bemühungen" steigt die Rate der CO2 Freisetzung global immer stärker an. Für wann war noch mal dieses net-zero geplant? 😎

August CO2 and methane data at NOAA just dropped.

The 3-year running average for the rate of CO2 growth continues to increase (now at 7.78 ppm per 3 years), and is nearing an all-time high.

Maybe if we all just hope a bit more, I'm sure that will change everything.

No, that's not possible. They promised there will be a new empire, let's say "THE New Empire" after Brexit. Empires don´t have such trouble. 😎

Why are there more flooding storms? Why does my cat ignore me?

For starters, the Northern mid-latitudes just set yet another new record for the 3-year running average for Total Column Precipitable Water.

And yes, this one is exponential.

This changes everything!

The Northern Hemisphere used to radiate more heat to space than it absorbed from the sun, but this changed over the past 20 years.

Breaking News!
Code Yikes!

This last August saw a record low for average August Arctic sea-ice thickness, the first time below 1 meter, with data going back to 1979.

Still waiting for September data. Will we see a new all-time record low? The Climate 8-ball is drunk again.

Yes. Thank you for pointing this out.

Yield pressure due to meat tempts farmers to sacrifice the long term for the short term: Fertilizers, pesticides matching GMO clones & irrigation. After a few decades, this has now caught up to us. The compound interests are now due.

Come on, that's always been the case. Look at the geology. They're already recovering. The few million years are not worth mentioning 😁😎
