For the first time in my life I am hyper aware of bad frame pacing from 24 FPS in a 60 FPS container and it's driving me fucking nuts. How did I never notice this before?

I'm so upset that I didn't have time to make a sign for the protest. I would have definitely done something like paint a trans flag with the words "Queens hate Kings 💅" or some bullshit like that and it would've been awesome.

Saw one of my old teachers at a protest today. Unfortunately, I can't say she's based because of the time she said TERF shit about trans women in sports (while fucking going over the history of sexist gatekeeping of women's bodies in women's sports too!), but it was interesting nonetheless.

lmao that's the vibe I get. Like because the Switch Pokémon games have had quality issues and Legends Z-A doesn't manage to fix every single one of them in a miraculous swoop, it must be horrible.

Yeah I've found discourse around Legends Z-A to be particularly annoying. I guess I can't judge too much until I play it, but like I'm not even a Pokémon fan and this one looks really appealing. I don't get why with this one in particular, everyone really has some bone to pick.

I've been bouncing around the idea of playing Final Fantasy VII Remake New Game+ when I get around to streaming that game, and if I decide to do that, I could totally do the same thing with Rebirth. But also I'll probably just do a regular New Game when I stream both.

I'm tempted to finish Final Fantasy VII Rebirth off stream before I stream it. Which is probably a stupid idea, but man I'm over halfway through, I'm really getting the itch to go back to it, and it'll probably be around 6 months until I'm at the same point on stream as I currently am off stream.

It's even worse getting the LGBTQ+ related subreddits recommended because they're all so toxic. I kinda love online queer culture, because I spend most of my irl time closeted, and I know little of local queer culture, but Reddit's flavor is disgusting. Horrible place to be if you have self respect.

I genuinely wonder why I'm on Reddit, because I feel like I have gotten useful answers to posts like two times after being on the platform for over 5 years and otherwise I am just an unwilling spectator and occasional participant in the most fucking annoying fandom discourse of all time.

Hopefully I don't regret this, but I just unfollowed all of the block lists I use. I've seen enough cases of people just kind of putting someone they have a personal grudge against on a block list for Nazis so hopefully I don't run into a bunch of Nazis after getting off of those lists.

I'd say a lack of third places (particularly local neighborhood third places) is the opposite of convenient. Part of the whole idea of a third place is that going there is at least somewhat convenient. No, I think a mix of zoning laws and inevitabilities of capitalism killed third places.

What about people who go by multiple names? Could you kill someone with their middle name and last name? Or if the names are based on the preference of the human rather than the legal system around them, would someone who goes by all sorts of different names be able to be killed with all of them?

If someone killed me with the Death Note, would they use my deadname (which is still my legal name unfortunately) or would they use my preferred name? If it's the legal name, then does the name people with shinigami eyes see above my head change as soon as my legal name changes? How does that work?

I find it interesting how tied up the shinigami are with human constructs in Death Note. Mainly names and language. The shinigami don't have their own language or writing system, they seem to just use human systems. Also they use names to kill, but I know damn well about how names can change.
