Noticed a couple of years ago that every single graphical asset for Half-Life 2 Deathmatch (and Half-Life Deathmatch Source) on Steam uses a different typeface for the subtitle and none of those match the one that's actually used in the game

Take it from Gabe Newell. The one that solved the problem by setting up a service that gave us people fanboying for DRM in 2025.
The same way that back in the day CD Projekt fought piracy not by DRM, but by offering a box worth its price.

As someone who experienced both burglary and home invasion (two separate cases)...
I'm still waiting for Nintendo and EA to go bankrupt because of all the piracy. Come on, the door is open. When will The Sims go bust?

piracy feels a lot like the fear of suburban break & enter in that it's a spooky thing that gets talked up in media and news a lot but then you accidentally leave your door unlocked for a week and discover that actually no one really cares to break in to begin with

This year, today, i was considering a visit to John UPS to kick his ass on a parking lot behind a discount store.
