Today's adventures with Newsblur.
Apparently it tracks how many people follow certain feeds - which is okay.
Unfortunately, it also suggests feeds that are no longer active, like PATV Strip Search :c

That's a show i'd love to see another season of.

Newsblur's widget for adding feeds. For Penny Arcade dot com it suggests not only normal, active feeds, but also inactive feeds for Extra Credits and Strip Search. Visiting their urls would give you a 404 page.

First of all, the use case is:
You give someone an address.
They open the site.
Text, images and links appear.

Don't need to keep up with software updates etc. just to have that.
And you usually don't update portfolio often enough to justify using a CMS and additional hosting costs.

Eh, that's an overkill for a portfolio site.
I know that all i need for now is just a static host, but no matter what - domain should be the first concern. No matter what hosting you end up using, the address should stay the same over the years.

Name facts:
It's a diminutive form of Maciej (or Matthias).
Colloquially, "maciuś" can refer to a person's belly - which is extra fitting for a CRT.
